Great thoughts, full of truth! I hardly call it legalistic, I call it putting up some solid hedges in your marriage. There really is nothing good on TV any more. YOu can’t even watch a game without being bombarded by sex filled commericals. 2 hours of TV in the evening vs. 2 hours of time with your kids and wife… which one has more redeeming value. Thanks for sharing and challenging

I just want you to know that I am sharing this website with all of my friends. Most of them are couples whose marriages would be considered “ok”. Your testimony is so powerful. I am really loving this part 3. God has been speaking to me for a while about TV. I just read the book, “The Duggars: 20 and Counting!” At first I thought that I might be mildly entertained but not able to relate. They are soooo conservative and have 6 times more children than I do! Don’t be fooled. Their testimony is amazing. One thing they shared is that their pastor counseled them to not have pets or a TV the first year of their marriage. (this was not the cause of the start of all their children. They did not have a baby for 3 years) They did bring a TV into their home at one point but ended up getting rid of it. They now only watch select videos.
