Expecting A Miracle…

As many of you know, we have been on a five week journey at Cross Point called Faith, Hope and Love. We have been talking about how we can grow in our intimacy with God through increasing our capacity to trust Him. As we increase our capacity to trust God, He increases our capacity to impact a lost and broken world, both individually and as a community of faith.

This weekend will be a defining moment for us as a church. We will come together on Sunday to make a commitment as a church to what we can trust God to give to Faith, Hope and Love. Our goal is $2.25 million dollars. It is a number that will only be able to be reached through God’s provision and His power.

If you attend Cross Point, I want to encourage you to take the weekend to really pray for a miracle in our church and in your life personally. Pray that God would show up in such powerful and unmistakable way that we won’t get any credit, but He will get all of the glory. Pray about what role you can play in allowing this miracle to come to fruition.

If you don’t attend Cross Point, please pray for our church this weekend. Pray that God would be glorified, that His purpose and His plan for Cross Point would prevail. I have seen so many miracles in my life, in my marriage, in my family and in ministry that I have all the confidence in the world that God can and will show up as we seek to honor Him.
