You Are Not

You are not your past

You are not your failures

You are not your parents

You are not your sister

You are not your regrets

You are not your sin

You are not your weight

You are not your divorce

You are not your unemployment

You are not the choices someone else made for you

You are not your brokenness

You are not your bitterness

You are not your abuse

You are not your loneliness

You are not your marital status

You are not your tax bracket

You are not your crisis

This is who YOU are:

You are loved

You are forgiven

You are redeemed

You are destined

You are set apart

You are a new creation

You are valued

You are gifted

You are chosen

You are prized

You are reconciled

You are called

You are noticed

You are pursued

You are a child of The King

You are a co-heir with Christ

You are a royal priesthood

You are adored, cherished and treasured by the God of this universe.

When you choose to stop living out who you are not and you start to live in who you are…

It changes everything.

    We have been discussing in KidsChurch the power of our words…the power of what we hear…and the strong holds that can hold us back because of it. As we sing that one song…I know who I am, I know who I am, I am yours, I am yours…It amazes me how easy it is to be programmed to believe who we are by the worlds standards and not Gods. Thank you again for always being willing to be transparently honest! You both are truly a blessing! Hope you don’t mind but I posted your link to my page. Hoping others will be encouraged as well!

    What a blessing ! Each day is a new horror for me-years ago I felt God calling me-didn’t know what but felt it was big–I ran, I stole God’s money thru tithes and offerings-I didn’t live for God trying but not succeeding. after losing my sister I moved so would not sink into depression. Gave my life to God with promise of whatever He wanted-it was blissful and wonderful for a few weeks-then I fell at work-they are fighting me over everything-hospital bills and any treatment-my Dr refuse to see me as a result-I was able to walk miles before the fall now I need the aid of walker or cane to cross the street. Each day I have to re trust God-each day brings new overwhelming things into my life. I’ve read Job and about the purifing process also-and refuse to not keep going. Please pray I feel that the whole world is against me-but praise the Lord He is in my corner
